The District of Elkford today reported on social media that a comprehensive and thoughtful review of Municipal Campground operations has led to council’s decision for the district to operate the Elkford Municipal Campground, commencing this season (2021).

“The district extends its profound appreciation to the Elkford Lions Club for the club’s long-term operation of the campground, and their invaluable service and contributions to our community,” the district noted.

“The district team is working diligently toward operational details including opening date, rates, reservations and camping guidelines.

Further details will be announced as soon as possible.
