On December 7, the Provincial Health Officer of British Columbia ordered that province-wide COVID-19 restrictions will be extended until January 8, 2021. Accordingly, we must make further changes to our services, operations and program offerings to abide by these updated orders and restrictions.

All District of Elkford recreation and leisure programming is now cancelled until further notice (with a few specific exceptions at the Aquatic Centre).

Additionally, as ordered by the Provincial Health Officer, the public is now restricted from attending local government meetings in person within British Columbia.

We will resume offering recreation and leisure programming when we receive the all-clear from provincial health authorities to do so, and we are providing alternative ways for the public to engage and provide feedback in council meetings.
