With the precipitation overnight fire behaviour has been reduced. The BC Wildfire Services continues to monitor and evaluate the Quinn Creek Fire and the White River Complex Fire.

The District of Elkford remains under an Evacuation Alert. This includes the District of Elkford, Line Creek, Green Hills and Fording River Operations and all rural properties north of Sparwood (see map right).

The District of Elkford will provide updates at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day on our District of Elkford website www.elkford.ca, District Elkford Facebook page, the community board at the Elkford Community Conference Centre and on our emergency radio station 91.1.
