Elkford OCP group workbooks available
Updates to the District of Elkford’s Official Community Plan (OCP) are well underway, and this important document will serve as our community’s roadmap for the next 20 years.
Refreshing the OCP plays an important role in guiding our community’s growth and creating policies that ensure Elkford continues to be a welcoming, active and vibrant place to call home.
Flip through the Draft OCP document. You can also visit www.elkford.ca/ocp to review it and learn more about this project, its milestones and engagement opportunities.
We’re excited to share that group workbooks are available now! The OCP project team has developed a virtual workbook to guide community members in facilitated conversations about the draft OCP. The workbook leads you through questions about the proposed policy directions in the draft OCP, and you’re encouraged to host a discussion with your friends and family and submit the group workbook together.
Each host who facilitates a conversation with at least five participants and submits their group workbook is eligible for $25 for your hosting efforts. Note that you must submit the workbook with at least five participant responses to receive the rebate. Hosts must provide their full name when submitting the workbook and making a payment request, so we can verify that the completed workbook was received. Start your group workbook by visiting https://bit.ly/ocpgroupworkbooks.
(Note that only the first 50 hosts who submit workbooks are eligible for the payment; and you are more than welcome to complete workbooks without the minimum of five participants, however you won’t be eligible for the payment.)
