City enters Winter Visitor Shuttle Service partnership
The City of Fernie reports it intends to enter into a partnering agreement for the provision of a winter visitor shuttle service between the city and Fernie Alpine Resort with Tunnel 49 Adventure Inc.
The service will run from November 26 until April 25, 2025.
The consideration to be received by the city for the use of the three buses to provide the Shuttle Service is $10 per month plus Goods and Services Tax and Provincial Sales Tax, as applicable.
Tunnel 49 Adventure Inc. shall be responsible for certain operating and maintenance costs and will be entitled to any operational surplus and is responsible for any loss arising from the operation of the service.
A copy of the proposed partnering agreement is available for viewing at City Hall, 501 3rd Avenue, during regular business hours of Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
