City re-opens Burma Road
The portion of Burma Road that was closed to public traffic has been reopened.
The road boulevard has been re-graded and the road is now safe for public use.
The City of Fernie Dec. 24 closed a portion of Burma Road (located at the end of the residential area) due to a disturbance of some areas of the banks and heavy rains washing topsoil onto the roadway.
