Fernie Ambassador Pass app available
Fernie Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce it has just launched a new mobile application to support the Fernie Ambassador Program.
The app is called the Fernie Ambassador Pass and it includes discounts and deals at local businesses.
Just over eight months ago, a group of chamber businesses came together with the goal to promote a better Fernie experience and to support business employee retention. From those early discussions, the Fernie Ambassador Program was launched.
The Ambassador Program does two things. It one, gives people tools to provide an excellent customer service by knowing how to provide good service and by knowing local Fernie information. The course was designed by the Ambassador Task Force in collaboration with College of the Rockies and is presented by Christine Grimble.
Now the second piece of the program is coming together.
The task force wanted a way to support businesses in a tight labour market. Businesses that sign on as an Ambassador Program Sponsors qualify their employees for the Ambassador Pass. The Ambassador Pass is full of discounts and deals that help make experiencing everything Fernie a little more wallet friendly.
Some discount examples include 20% off midweek at King Fir Spa and Wellness, free growler with fill at Fernie Brewing Co., or employee rates at Fernie Super 8 Hotel. These discounts are accessed through the Fernie Ambassador Pass available on iOS and android.
Fernie Ambassador Pass is available to employees of sponsoring businesses that have taken the Ambassador Program Course. The chamber is working to bring more businesses on board and expand the range of discounts available to Ambassadors.
