CTV’s Canada AM is basing its broadcast from Fernie Alpine Resort on Thursday, January 24.

It’s an early morning hoist from a warm bed but get up and head up to the ski hill to show your Fernie support. Visitors and locals are encouraged to show up at 4 a.m., where activities and entertainment, as well as, hopefully, some coffee, will be available.

Canada AM hosts Beverly Thomson and Marci Ien, and with weatherman Jeff Hutcheson will be on hand and the broadcast (http://canadaam.ctvnews.ca/ ) will  features pieces including tech expert Marc Saltzman, an item on couch-surfing and chocolate creations.  And the following Friday, fresh from the B.C. Rockies, there will be a segment on B.C. skiing.
