Fernie readies for annual Griz Days
Fernie’s biggest annual community party is only two weeks away.
Griz Days 2025 is taking place Friday, Feb. 28 to Sunday, March 2 in downtown Fernie and Fernie Alpine Resort.
The annual celebration honours the community’s connection to the legendary Griz, the mythical creature said to bring snow and winter fun to the region.
All the favourites are returning, including the Extreme Griz competition, Baby and Junior Griz, bed races, fireworks, the Raging Elk Dummy Downhill and downtown parade.
Of note, new this year, the Griz Days Parade is being held on Friday evening.
This year’s style motif is vintage formal!
