Fernie trails heading home for game three
The Fernie Ghostriders trail the Revelstoke Grizzlies 2-0 in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey Leagueās (KIJHL) Teck Cup finals, heading home for game three Monday, April 8.
The Riders lost games one and two 5-2 and 4-2 in Revelstoke over the weekend.
Lucas Desjarlais and captain Taylor Haggerty scored for the Ghostriders in game one, while Levi Hall finished with 40 saves. The Ghostriders went 0-for-6 on the power-play.
In game two, the Ghostriders scored two power-play tallies by Dayden Collier and Ben Skarsen in the first three minutes. Nick Kunyk was relieved by Levi Hall after surrendering four goals on 26 shots. Hall saved 20 of 21 shots.
Game three is Monday, April 8 at 7 p.m. and game four is Tuesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. at Fernie Memorial Arena.
