Do you know how to properly use a fire extinguisher in the event of an emergency?

Last night, Fernie Fire Rescue responded to two separate structure fires. In each incident more serious property damage was avoided by individuals in the area who knew how to properly operate a fire extinguisher and were able to contain the fire before crews arrived on scene.
