Outdoor rink anticipated to open mid-month
The City of Fernie reports that preparation is underway for the 2019/2020 season at the Outdoor Community Rink.
Weather permitting, the rink is anticipated to open mid-December.
Over the coming week volunteers will be hard at work preparing the ice for the season.
The public is asked to remain off the surface until the rink is open to ensure that ice can be created safely and efficiently.
