Person stabbed at Fernie motel
On October 22, at approximately 8 a.m., Elk Valley RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at the Super 8 motel in Fernie.
RCMP located the stabbing victim at the scene, who was transported to the Elk Valley Hospital. Police investigation resulted in a suspect being identified and quickly arrested near his residence.
“This matter continues to be under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed the attack or have any information regarding this incident is asked to contact Elk Valley RCMP,” said Cpl. R. Wright, Watch Supervisor with Elk Valley Regional Detachment RCMP.
