Final Jaffray/Elko area OCP workshop
The final community planning workshop for the Jaffray & Elko Area Official Community Plan (OCP) is being held Monday, September 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Jaffray Community Hall.
This workshop, being held by the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK), is for individuals from all the communities within the plan area to attend. If you were not able to attend your targeted community workshop or feel you have more to contribute this workshop is for you.
Workshop participants will get an opportunity to:
• learn about the Official Community Plan and the survey results;
• comment on existing and proposed land use policies; and
• identify what you would like to see (or wouldn’t like to see) for future residential, commercial, recreational and other land uses.
