Elk Valley RCMP Constable Spyker presented this month’s winner of the ‘Protect the Brain Bucket’ positive ticket campaign to Tanner Smyth. Tanner won a skateboard along with a number of gift certificates from various stores in Fernie.

The RCMP encourages everyone to practice good safety habits, including wearing a helmet when participating in cycling or skateboarding.

The positive ticket campaign will go until September 21, when the grand prize is drawn at the Fernie Family Safety Day.
