No serious injuries on bus in accident near Hosmer
School District No. 5 (SD5) reports this evening that a bus was involved in an accident on Highway 3 near Hosmer after school today (Sept. 5).
“We are aware that this is a very serious incident and are very fortunate that there were no serious injuries to the bus driver or the two students who were still on the bus. At this time, emergency services are active at the scene, and our thoughts and concerns are with any individuals from the other vehicles,” SD5 stated in a media release.
“We anticipate being able to have regular scheduled bus service tomorrow, but will communicate with media partners in a timely fashion if that information changes.”

No other details are available at this time, including about what happened with the other vehicle involved.
