Early yesterday morning (June 25) crews from Fernie Fire and Emergency Services and Hosmer (RDEK) Fire Services responded to a tractor trailer rollover on Highway 3 and Caldwell Frontage Road.

Extrication was difficult due to the position of the vehicle. BC Emergency Health Services dispatched STARS air ambulance as a precaution but due to minor injuries they were not required.

The patient was transported to Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie by BCEHS with non-life threatening injuries, Fernie Fire and Emergency Services reported.
