Elk Valley Regional RCMP officers are holding their annual ‘Operation Pack a PC’ on December 14 from 10 a.m. to approximately 12 p.m. in all three valley municipalities.

Organized by local Cst. Chris Spyker, with assistance from various detachment staff, the event is held to collect donations for the Salvation Army and the Sparwood Food Bank.

The following grocers are participating:

• Fernie: Save On Foods and Eldho’s Independent Grocer.
• Sparwood: Save On Foods.
• Elkford: Kootenay Market.

Some stores have prepared packages at various prices to make support even easier!

Cash donations are welcome at the sites as well. Please help make the Holiday Season a little brighter for those families or people in need.
