SAR locate man missing from Eureka since July 8
Fernie Search and Rescue (SAR) was called out last night to respond to reports of an elderly man in distress near the Wigwam River.
Once located, volunteers discovered he was an 87-year-old missing from Eureka, Montana since July 8.
He was assessed and then taken to Roosville Border Station via Ascent Helicopters, Fernie SAR reported.
