Sparwood’s biggest annual celebration is returning June 6-12.

Coal Miner Days 2022 promises to be a great week of community fun, entertainment and sports.

“Each year we work hard to bring a fun, inexpensive weekend to the residents and visitors of Sparwood, while highlighting all of the great things that our community has to offer. The focus for our event continues to be about building community spirit, lending a helping hand and getting involved all while showcasing our community,” Coal Miner Days explained on its website.

“Stay tuned for more information about this year’s festivities that include carnival events, food trucks, street market, fireworks, vehicle evacuation demonstration, bike rodeo, baseball tournament and so much more.
