This is to advise that the pedestrian crosswalk on Highway 43 near Aspen Drive remains closed until construction of the new pedestrian controls for the Middletown Highway 3/43 Intersection Improvements Project are completed.

Parents, please educate your children about this change; pedestrian access is available under the Highway 43 – Railway Overpass (Sparwood Overhead). Please see the map here.

Pedestrian crossing lights and controls will be replaced in this area as the construction progresses.

The new pedestrian crosswalk on Highway 43 near Aspen Drive is expected to be operational near the middle of September.

Please slow down in this area and watch for traffic signage and workers in these areas.
