Teachers getting CPR and AED training
Local secondary school teachers will learn how to teach their students CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) next week at Sparwood Secondary School.
The ACT Foundation, in partnership with BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS), is enabling these secondary school teachers Wednesday, June 22 to empower students to save lives.
Thanks to a contribution from RBC, AstraZeneca Canada, Pfizer Canada and Sanofi Canada, the ACT High School CPR and AED Training Program is being implemented in School District No. 5 Southeast Kootenayâs Elkford, Fernie, and Sparwood secondary schools.
