49th annual JulyFest back in style after two-year absence
The 49th annual JulyFest went off this year in style after a two year absence.
Festivities kicked off Friday, July 15 with bocce and live music, which continued throughout the weekend.
Other activities included in the festivities were a soccer tournament, extreme Downhill skateboarding races, a market and food trucks, and the annual Kimberley Homecoming Parade.
In bocce, Far Side of the Hill won first place, with 4 Old Oars finishing second and Rain or Shine edged out High Rollers in the B final for third place.
Many volunteers came out to make the festival a success with Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce supporting the event as well as Karen Rempel, event coordinator with Rocky Mountain Event Planners for organizing the Best of the Fests.
