Dynamiters capture KIJHL crown
The Kimberley Dynamiters are going to Richmond April 12-15 to participate in the Cyclone Taylor Cup thanks to capturing another Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) championship title last night after defeating the Revelstoke Grizzlies 5-3 in game six.
This is the second KIJHL crown for the Nitros in four years, since last winning it all in 2014/15.
The top team in the league during the regular season, Kimberley finished as: Eddie Mountain Division regular season champs; Kootenay Conference regular season champs; KIJHL regular season champs; Eddie Mountain playoff champs; Kootenay Conference playoff champs; and KIJHL champs.
Congratulations Dynamiters! Go get ‘em in Richmond!
