Eight candidates vying for Kimberley council seat
City of Kimberley voters are heading to a By-election Saturday, September 21 to replace a council seat vacated in April after the resignation of Steven Royer.
And voters have eight choices for the one council seat.
Maryse Leroux, Chief Election Officer for the City of Kimberley today declared, pursuant to section 98 of the Local Government Act, the following candidates for the office of councillor: Cody Courtenay, Tamara Duggan, Derek Etmanski, Diana Fox, Craig Janzen, Scott Macleod, William McKerrow and Christopher Millner.
The elected councillor will serve a two year term from November 2024 to October 2026.
