Excessive speeders caught on Highway 95A
Over the past few days, Kimberley RCMP has stopped two vehicles on Highway 95A south of Marysville for excessive speed.
On June 14, a vehicle was stopped while travelling at 196 km/h and on June 17, a vehicle was stopped travelling at 152 km/h – both in 100 km/h speed zones.
Both drivers, aged 18 and 85 years old respectively, were issued Violation Tickets and had their vehicles impounded for seven days.
“Kimberley RCMP reminds drivers to slow down and that enforcement will continue in the areas that high risk driving is reported,” said Sgt. Steve Woodcox, Kimberley RCMP Detachment commander.
