Future Home display runs until Oct. 6
Join Telus at the Future Home to experience the potential of a fibre optic network and get a preview into the future of home technology.
Local residents can visit the Future Home display from Sunday, October 1 through to Thursday, October 6.
The home is open to the public between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily at the Kimberley Aquatic Centre (520 Archibald Street).
The 560-square-foot Future Home is designed to demonstrate innovative concept technology such as a facial recognition software to enter the home, a smart fridge and cooktop to help plan meals, an interactive home office, home monitoring sensors and cameras and a 4K ultra HD Optik TV which is bound to redefine the home entertainment experience.
All Future Home visitors can enter a contest to win a prize pack courtesy of Samsung, which includes a 55” Samsung UHD LED Smart TV (retail value $1,600), a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 LTE 9.7 (retail value $600) and a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (retail value $850).
