Health Care Auxiliary Thrift Store re-opening
Community volunteers are holding a grand re-opening of the Kimberley Thrift Store this Saturday.
“We have been closed for about six weeks for re-modelling,” explained Jean Minifie, President of the Kimberley Health Care Auxiliary. “We received a grant from the Columbia Basin Trust which made this possible for the convenience for our clients.”
A special celebration is being held Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Kimberley Thrift Store (134 Howard Street) from 1 to 3 p.m.
Come on in and take a look around while enjoying coffee and cake!
“All our monies from the donations made by the generosity of the Kimberley community has made it possible for Kimberley Health Care Auxiliary to donate well over $300,000.00 to East Kootenay Foundation for Health,” noted Minifie.
