Innovative networking event planned for Kimberley’s non-profit organizations
In recognition of the important roles played by non-profit and volunteer organizations in the overall health and vitality of a community, the Kimberley and District Community Foundation (KDCF) and College of the Rockies-Kimberley Campus, supported by Columbia Basin Trust, are co-hosting a unique networking event this November that will help foster and strengthen connections and collaborations within Kimberley’s non-profit community.
The evening will provide a fun and engaging opportunity for leaders in Kimberley’s non-profit sector to identify common challenges and aspirations that relate to the overall health and sustainability of the sector, while at the same time recognizing the recipients of KDCF’s fall granting program.
Two representatives are being invited from every non-profit organization in Kimberley to bring their voices and perspectives to the conversation. The event goes from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, with The Kimberley Happiness Project contributing a $250 door prize for a participating non-profit organization.
