Kimberley all-candidates’ forum Sept. 26
As a service to the community, and in support of the mandate of both Rotary and the Chamber to encourage an engaged democratic process, the Rotary Club of Kimberley, in partnership with the Kimberley and District Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting an All-Candidates Forum with the Kootenay-Columbia candidates for the 2019 Federal Election on Thursday, September 26.
The moderated forum in the McKim Middle School Auditorium will provide an opportunity for interested members of the Kimberley community to field questions of the candidates.
The event will also give the candidates a venue to engage with voters through opening and closing remarks, and during the brief meet and greet to follow.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the forum running from 7 to 9 p.m.
All federal candidates for the Kootenay Columbia riding are invited to attend.
