Kimberley Chamber pausing JulyFest involvement
The Kimberley and District Chamber of Commerce announced Oct. 25 that its involvement in JulyFest will be paused for at least one year, affecting the Bocce tournament, Kidsâ Zone, music festival at Coronation Park and the Parade.
This decision, made thoughtfully, is essential for our long-term sustainability and success,â the chamber noted in a social media post.
âOur primary mission as a chamber is to advocate for, support, and promote local businesses. While we recognize the importance of JulyFest as a community event, we believe that focusing our resources on initiatives that more directly benefit local businesses and non-profits is necessary at this time.
âWe value the legacy of JulyFest and are open to potential collaborations with interested parties. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work towards our mission.â
