Rotary Club of Kimberley is grateful for the generous donors who made their third annual Gift of Christmas a record-breaking success by raising a total of $14,700.

Rotary President Patrick Barclay said, “I am overjoyed and humbled by the support of the citizens of Kimberley. With their help, the money raised was distributed throughout schools in the form of gift certificates for so many deserving families.”

This year’s success was boosted with the generous support of Kootenay Savings Credit Union, which matched donations made at the Credit Union’s ‘One Day of Giving’ on November 23, 2023.

Donors at the November 23 Kootenay Savings Credit Union event were treated with a free bowl of soup donated by Our Place Restaurant.

The Rotary Club of Kimberley is already looking forward to next year’s event and hopes to find more partners to help them help others.
