The new trail along Gerry Sorenson Way will connect the downtown area to the Peak-to-Platzl trail.

Nearing completion, the trail bridge, constructed by Tyee Homes of Kimberley, is one of several that crisscross Mark Creek as it goes through the city. A grant of $72,500 from Bike BC funded a large portion of the project.

Trees will be planted along the trail thanks to funding ($3,500) from Trees for Tomorrow though BC Hydro. The signature bridge near the Peak-to-Platzl trail will enhance the area and the trail network enjoyed by residents and visitors.
