Dog Etiquette

Please keep your dog on a leash in public places within city limits, including the Rails-to-Trails. There are a few designated off-leash areas within the city including the Kimberley Nature Park, Lois Creek Trails and the Marysville off-leash area. Remember to pick up your dog’s excrement on all trails, use the bags provided and place it in the receptacles. If you notice the bag holder is empty, contact the Animal Control Officer at 250-427-6460. Please be conscientious of everyone who uses the trails, as no one likes to step in dog poo! Let’s all pitch in to keep our trails clean and clear.
