BC Hydro needs to switch off the power in parts of Kimberley Friday, October 28 while it conducts emergency repairs.

To keep their crews and the public safe, power must be switched off in the areas of the Kimberley Ski Hill, from the corner of Norton Avenue and Gerry Sorensen Way, including the ski hill, Alpenglow Court, Alpine Crescent and all customers in the immediate vicinity of these areas. It’ll take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to complete the work.

To protect your equipment from damage during the outage, please turn off all lights, electrical heaters, major appliances, and unplug all electronics.

BC Hydro will restore power as soon as it can.
