?Aq’am council election Oct. 26
?Aq’am First Nation is heading toward a council election on Oct. 26.
The first order of business heading to the election of chief and two councillors is to hold a nomination meeting on Sept. 7, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the ?Aq’am Band Hall.
That will be followed by an all-candidates forum on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the band hall, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The general election will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the ?Aq’am administration board room.
