Two council positions to be filled Oct. 24
ʔaq̓am Community voters head to the polls Wednesday, Oct. 24 to elect two new council members from a field of six candidates.
“Last election ʔaq̓amnik̓ made their voices heard with a voter turnout of 58%… this Wednesday is your chance to vote for two councillor seats and to beat that record,” ʔaq̓am Community stated in a Facebook post today.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The nominees are: Jason Andrew; Faye O’Neil; Vickie Thomas; Corrie Walkley; Lindsey Whitehead; Sancira Williams-Jimmy.
