Parking bans to begin for Hard Powder filming
The public is advised that temporary parking bans are in place to accommodate production for filming in Fernie of the movie Hard Powder starring Liam Neeson.
Temporary Parking Bans will be in place as follows from April 7 – 12 (12 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.)
– City parking lot adjacent to the Royal Canadian Legion on 1st Avenue from Friday, April 7 to Tuesday, April 11 inclusive.
– Fernie Memorial Arena located at 1092 Highway 3 from Sunday, April 9 to Wednesday, April 12 inclusive.
All vehicles must be removed from the lots prior to these dates, the City of Fernie asks.
In addition 2nd Avenue (5th St. to 8th St.) and 5th Street (1st Ave. to 2nd Ave.) will have intermittent parking and traffic interruptions during filming on Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11.
