Power outages in Cranbrook, Tata Creek
More than 130 customers are being impacted by a power outage in central Cranbrook that began at 8:30 p.m. last night (March 18).
The outage covered the area west of Balment Drive, north of 2nd St., east of 12th Ave., south of 4th Street.
A downed tree took out a power line on 1st Street South. The initial outage impacted traffic lights on Victoria Avenue and 2nd St. South and 14th Avenue and 2nd St. S.
It is estimated power will be restored this morning.
There is another power outage impacting five or fewer people in Tata Creek. A BC Hydro crew has been assigned.
