Cycling society 2014 AGM April 2

The Columbia Valley Cycling Society is holding its annual general meeting on Wednesday, April 2 at 7 p.m.

The meeting is being held at the Lions’ Hall (Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce) near south of the Invermere Crossroads.

If you ride a bike and care about trails in our area, you are encouraged to attend. Stop by and meet our directors and members. Hear about our achievements from the past year as well as current and future projects.

Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

Copper Point Resort Ride and Dine on Thursday, April 3

Copper Point Resort is partnering with the Columbia Valley Cycling Society to host a ‘Cart Path Assault’ to overcome the sloppy trails blues.

Last chance to ride at the Copper Point Resort as golf starts Friday. Hard to believe.

Come on out and ride the paths with friends, family, groups, or solo. Pick your route, pick your speed.

Riding starts any time. Dining room opens at 7 p.m.

Anne Riches has planned a smorgasbord for the evening: Stuffed chicken breast with brie and peppers, rice and potatoes, salad, and dessert. Bar is at your expense.

Riders must be CVCS members.

Hope to see all ages and abilities of riders. A cycling celebration to start 2014!

Please RSVP as a head count will help Anne with planning, so please contact Don Miller to ‘reserve’ by leaving your name, number and how many people will attend.
