ICE and Tigers series tied heading to game three

The Kootenay ICE return home to Cranbrookā€™s Western Financial Place Wednesday evening (April 9) for game three of their Eastern Conference semi final, tied at a game apiece with the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Goaltender Mackenzie Skapski made 28 saves to help lead the ICE to a 4-2 game one victory before 3,750 Western Hockey League fans at Medicine Hat April 5.

The Tigers roared back last night (April 9) with a 5-2 victory to even the series.

This is the fourth time in franchise history that the ICE are facing Medicine Hat in the post season (2-1 career playoff series record).

Tim Bozon Trust Fund:Ā A trust fund has been set up for Tim Bozon to assist with medical and rehabilitation costs. Donations can be made at any BMO (Bank of Montreal) in Western Canada. Game four is Thursday, April 10 at Western Financial Place.

The puck drop for both home games is 7 pm.
