Spring Honda Fun Run a success
The Spring Honda Fun Run June 1 in Cranbrook is being hailed by organizers as a great success.
“We are thrilled to be donating $8,500 to the BC ALS Society this year, and it is because of every walker, runner, sponsor and volunteer that our event was such an amazing success,” reported event co-organizer Rhiannon Chippett.
The Corporate Challenge winner was Core Fitness. And the School Challenge was split three ways between St. Mary’s, Highlands and TM Roberts Schools. Each school will receive $100 – for a total of $300, which was sponsored by Lotic Environmental.
Next year’s run will be Sunday, June 7, 2015.
