Coffee Fest, a celebration of everything coffee
Only two weeks remain until Invermere’s Coffee Fest, a weekend celebration of everything coffee.
Special guest Jeremy Ho will be making the trip to Invermere from his home at Phil and Sebastian’s in Calgary. The year 2012 was great for Jeremy; he won the Canadian National Barista Championship and went on to compete in the worlds in Australia where he finished in the top 10. Jeremy will be hosting two workshops; Barista Skills, pulling the perfect shot; and Manual Brew Methods for Home Brewers.
There will be 10 exciting workshops throughout the April 4 -6 weekend; including an in-depth Kicking Horse Coffee facilities tour, latte art competition at Gerry’s Gelati, art workshops at BlackStar, and the Beanie Awards at the Quality Bakery.
Spend and evening with Karla Fester from Frog Friendly Wild Coffee, tasting coffee from around the world and learning the Frog Friendly Wild story.
Eight Ounce Coffee will be presenting a workshop at Copper Point Resort specifically designed for those in the food and beverage industry. On Trend and in Profit will explore current trends in coffee preparation and service. This is a free workshop but numbers are limited so registration is required.
Be sure to get out and vote for your favourite café from March 31 – April 5, participating cafes can be found on our website.
