Dirt Jumps and Skills Park temporary closure
The dirt jumps and skills park on the Aquatic Centre grounds are getting a facelift and will be closed starting next week while construction is underway.
The City of Fernie is excited to be working with the Fernie Trails Alliance to improve the quality of this community recreation amenity.
The work being done will enhance the rider experience by improving the flow and safety of the park users.
On Monday, May 15 there will be partial closures for the removal of logs and rocks.
From Wednesday, May 17 – May 26 the area will be closed for the redevelopment of the park.
The improvements are being funded through the Resort Municipality Initiative.
